Accessibility Tip of the Day: Using the Brightspace Accessibility Checker
Posted:
The Brightspace HTML Editor has a built in Accessibility Checker designed to help you improve the accessibility of your content pages. In addition to using Ally and the Microsoft Accessibility Checker, the Brightspace Accessibility Checker is another tool in your toolbox to help you enhance the accessibility of your content.
The Brightspace Accessibility Checker can help you:
- Add descriptive alternative text to images
- Check color contrast
- Use headings correctly
- Use lists appropriately
- Create descriptive hyperlink text
- Create accessible tables
Learn more about using the Brightspace Accessibility Checker.
Faculty and staff members are encouraged to register for training sessions periodically listed in the Buffalo State Workshop Registration System, and/or contact SAS Content Access for support.
