Accessibility Tip of the Day
As we approach the deadline for content accessibility compliance as required by Title II ADA, small changes made when creating your content will help achieve that goal.
Today’s Tip: Titles and Headings
Use the Styles option on your Home tab in MS Word to start each document with a “Title.” Consequently, chunk the document using Heading 1, Heading 2, and Heading 3 to help students navigate the content with ease. Separating content into small, digestible information increases comprehension, engagement, and reduces cognitive load.
When creating slides in MS PowerPoint, always start with a pre-structured slide design available on the Insert menu. Create unique titles for each slide.
