Data Science and Analytics Seminar Series: "Applied AI Engineering" - February 2
The Spring 2026 Data Science and Analytics Seminar Series presents "Applied AI Engineering," with invited speaker Pavan Kumar Narayanan (remote presentation) on Monday, February 2, from 4:30 to 5: 45 p.m. in Cleveland Hall 418 (Zoom: 718-6340613).
The presentation will focus on:
- Foundations of AI Engineering
- Deep Learning, Transformers, and LLMs
- Applied AI Engineering Practices
Pavan Kumar Narayanan has more than 10 years of experience in the information technology industry, with a primary focus on the data engineering and machine learning domains. His experience spans a broad spectrum, encompassing traditional data warehousing projects following waterfall methodologies and extending to contemporary integrations that involve APIs and web applications. Pavan received his bachelor of science in computer information technology from Northern Arizona University and master of science in professional applied and computational mathematics at Buffalo State University.
