Join the Faculty Seminar Series from the Business, Economics, and Public Administration Department on Thursday, September 25, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. (Bengal Pause) in Campbell Student Union 414 . The Faculty Seminar Series is a place where faculty and guests can present their work.

Dr. Ikhee Cho, assistant professor of public administration, will present his paper, "From Assistant to Principal: How Internal Promotion Improves School Accountability." This study contributes to expanding literature on hiring practices in public schools by providing differentiated effects from both internal promotions and external ones. Moreover, the different consequences from a variety of personnel management in public education highlight the role of assistant principal in enhancing school accountability.
