Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Learning Event

Posted:

Join us for an exciting opportunity to explore the power of GIS at the ESRI Northeast Meetup, hosted by Mary Perrelli from the Geosciences Department. ESRI, developer of the world’s leading comprehensive geospatial software for mapping, spatial analysis, and location intelligence is bringing together users from across the region for an afternoon of learning and connection.  This is the same platform used on our campus for GIS teaching and research.

This free, half-day event is open to everyone—whether you’re an experienced GIS user or simply curious about how GIS can support your research, teaching, or organizational work. The program will include lightning talks, live technology demonstrations, networking opportunities, refreshments, and time to connect with ESRI staff, partners, and GIS professionals from across Western New York.

Feel free to attend the entire event or drop in as your schedule allows.
