IT News: Re-enroll in Campus Secure Wireless

Posted:

When you are on campus, you have a choice of using the secure wireless connection to Bengal or using the non-secure connection to BengalOpen16. If you are not using the secure connection, Bengal, you really should for reasons of convenience and security.

We use a third-party application, Cloudpath, to deliver the security certificate to your mobile device. This security certificate allows you to use your Buffalo State credentials to connect to the Buffalo State secure wireless network (Bengal). Once you install this certificate, and log in, you should not have to log in again for a year.

This certificate is good for one year. Our currenhttps://securewifi.buffalostate.edu/t certificate expires on June 30th.

Use your mobile device to go to the Buffalo State Secure Wireless page. Click on “Enroll Your Device” and follow the directions. Do this for each mobile device that you use to connect to the Buffalo State secure wireless network.
