National Distance Learning Week: November 3–7

This year's National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) celebration is November 3-7. NDLW is a week of free professional development opportunities around distance education and technology. It is presented by the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) on a global level and has attracted multiple participating institutions over its 18-year history. USDLA, SUNY Online, and Buffalo State will be offering sessions. 

USDLA will host sessions based on its theme around artificial intelligence, Regular and Substantial Interaction, Neurodivergent Learners & Student Voice and Agency. All sessions are free. Registration is open

SUNY Online will be hosting sessions on accessibility and Title II Compliance, Student Engagement and Belonging in Online Courses, Feedback as a Tool for Growth & Multimedia Assignments. Check out all the sessions and register.

Buffalo State will also be hosting sessions here on campus with the option to attend virtually. Sessions from your Buffalo State colleagues will touch upon Artificial Intelligence, the student voice, OSCQR & Accessibility, library research module, synchronous learning and problem solving along with integrating micro-credentials and certifications into online learning.
