Join the Office of Institutional Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and the Department of Social Work in wearing an orange shirt on Tuesday, September 30, to commemorate National Orange Shirt Day. This day brings awareness to the tragedy that many indigenous families experienced being forced into Indian boarding schools like the Thomas Indian School in Cattaraugus County. By wearing an orange shirt, we pledge that Every Child Matters and bring awareness to the continued healing and reconciliation process.
