Join the Geosciences department in celebrating Geography Awareness Week (GAW) the week of November 17-21.

The GAW photo contest celebrates the importance of geography in everyday life. One winner will be selected from each of the following geographic categories: Weather, Animals, and People in Action. One submission per category. Winners will be notified by email and text message and will receive a $25 Visa gift card. A poster with the winning photos and submitters will be displayed in the SAMC Atrium on Friday, November 21, 2025. All on campus are encouraged to submit.  GAW week is supported by the Grants Allocation Committee.
