Please note that deadlines for the semester have been extended as follows:

• Drop/add deadline is now 11:59pm, Thursday, February 5, 2026.
• Any student who remains on a waitlist and is notified that a seat opens will have either 24-hours to register from the time of notification or until the drop/add deadline 11:59pm, Feb. 5, whichever comes first. We strongly encourage students to check their Buffalo State email frequently especially during this time.
• Online Withdrawal from Course will begin at 12:01am on Friday, February 6th and end at 11:59pm on Friday, May 1st. Students can withdraw from a course directly in Banner but are strongly cautioned to check with their instructor, financial aid and advisor before taking any action.
• Students will continue to be able to add courses starting at 12:01am on Friday, Feb 6th and ending at 11:59pm on Thursday, Feb. 12th as part of the Online Late Add process. All courses will require Instructor Permission and any other required override, if applicable. As a courtesy to our students, no late fee will be charged.
• These deadlines will be updated on the Academic Calendar and a Student Announcement will also be posted.
• Students can search for classes that have seats available directly in Schedule Planner.
• All students, as always, are strongly encouraged to get registered for their classes and not delay so they are on the Banner roster, have access to Brightspace and are able to keep current with their work.
