SEFA: And You Get a Prize, And You Get a Prize, And You Get a Prize…

To have a chance at winning a prize listed below, all you need to do is increase your SEFA pledge from last year:

  • Friday, November 21 - A special Surprise Thanksgiving-themed prize, donated by Carolyn Morris-Hunt and Maria Garrity
  • Friday, November 21 – An additional bonus Thanksgiving-themed prize donated by Lisa Morrison-Fronckowiak
  • Wednesday November 26 – Five Wegmans gift cards $15 each given to 5 lucky winners donated by Carolyn Morris-Hunt, Maria Garrity, and Lisa Morrison-Fronckowiak
  • Tuesday, December 2 – National Day of Giving (Giving Tuesday) – December 2 is the final day to donate to the SEFA campaign and your last chance to give and be entered into our final “during the campaign” raffle.  You could win a Josh Allen jersey donated by Maria Garrity.

How do you donate, you ask?

To use the ePledge system, click “Forgot User ID or Password” to begin the process. If you prefer a SEFA paper pledge form, simply fill it out and return it with your donation to your departmental SEFA ambassador.  Agencies can be found in the SEFA Booklet (press ctrl F to search).

To qualify for the United Way Challenge, donate $52 or more.

Emeriti and retirees may also use a paper pledge form and make donation checks payable to SEFA, mailed to: Maria Garrity, Twin Rise 204H Buffalo State University, 1300 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222

Thanksgiving is coming, so don’t forget Shetice Jackson from Cake Crazy Bakery is working hard baking her famous sweet potato pies to support the United Way Campaign! Pies are $25 (cash only) and are freshly baked, then frozen to lock in freshness. Just thaw and enjoy. We sold out of the first batch, and we picked up more pies just in time for your Thanksgiving gatherings. 
To order, please e-mail Michael Ferraro at campushouse@buffalostate.edu to schedule a pickup time.  You’ll be helping both United Way and a fellow alum in the process.
