SEFA/United Way - Pick Up a Pie for a Party!
Pick Up a Pie for a Party!
Are you planning an office Halloween party, a student gathering, or simply craving a delicious sweet potato pie? We have the perfect solution, and you’ll be supporting the United Way charity and a former alum at the same time!
Stop by the Campus House to pick up a freshly bakery-made, frozen pie “to go.” for only $25.00. These pies are perfect for Halloween or Thanksgiving celebrations. You can even enjoy lunch at the Campus House and take a pie home afterward! For more information, please e-mail Michael or Sue at campushouse@buffalostate.edu , or visit https://campushouse.buffalostate.edu for Campus House hours.
SEFA Campaign
We would like all faculty and staff to use the e-pledge system to participate in the campaign. Otherwise, submit a paper form to your ambassador along with your cash or check.
To get started, visit https://uwbec.unitedwayepledge.org and click “Forgot User ID or Password” to begin. If you donated last year through payroll deduction and wish to continue that same amount, an automatic rollover option is available if the agency has recertified.
Emeriti and retirees may complete a paper pledge form as well and make donation checks payable to SEFA and mail to: Maria Garrity, Twin Rise 204H, Buffalo State University, 1300 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222.

- Congratulations to Donald Williams from the Small Business Development Center on your brilliant candy guess! Thank you, Meghan Pereira, for your efforts in promoting this United Way giving incentive, and thanks to all the donors who contributed an additional $121 to support United Way!
- Our next free lunch raffle drawing will be held this Friday, October 31. Just increase your pledge by any amount for your chance to win two more free Bengal Kitchen lunches!
- Don’t forget about the United Way Challenge prizes. Just participate with a pledge of $52.00 or more and fill out the challenge form to be entered into that UW drawing as well.
