Tell Students: Buffalo State Alums Share Entrepreneurial Journeys and Perfect Pitches - October 30

The Bengal Entrepreneurship Program (BEP) and the Buffalo State Small Business Development Center are hosting "Local Leaders," a series featuring local business owners and experts in their professions. 

This Thursday, October 30, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. (Bengal Pause) in E. H. Butler Library Room 134, this event will feature two former Bengal Entrepreneurship Program participants:

  • Jonah Christakis, founder of 716 Corporate Housing and second place winner of the 2023 Bengal Entrepreneurship Program competition and participant of the 2024 statewide New York Business Plan competition
  • Tiara Gilman, owner of Tiara Like The Crown LLC and first place winner of the 2023 Bengal Entrepreneurship Program competition and participant of the statewide New York Business Plan Competition

Come and learn from the top two winners of the 2023 BEP competition on how to deliver the perfect pitch to engage your audience and leave a lasting impression. Plus, learn more about their entrepreneurial journeys.
