Tell Students: IPDP Costa Rica Information Session - October 22 and 23

Posted:

Embark on a transformative journey with Buffalo State's IPDP Costa Rica program

This immersive experience includes a spring semester course and May/June 2026 travel, offering a unique opportunity to explore Costa Rica's warm culture while connecting with local children and families.

Participants will collaborate directly with students and teachers at a PK-8 school on the southwest coast (known as the Whale Tail), and engage in Spanish language immersion courses and service-learning activities at local community centers in the capital city of San José. The cohort will also explore the rich communities, history, and environment of Costa Rica through nature and cultural excursions. This program is a good fit for teacher education candidates and students preparing to support or work with children and youth in a variety of settings.
