Tell Students: Participants Needed for Research Study on Collegiate Athletes' Perception of Caffeine
Haley Mazgaj is pursuing a master’s degree in dietetics at Buffalo State. For her graduate research project, she is interested in understanding student athletes’ usage and perception of caffeine for athletic performance. This is an exploratory study that consists of a single online survey. Faculty members are encouraged to share information about her study with their students. She has drafted a recruitment statement (below) that can be shared as a Brightspace announcement or sent via email.

Hello,
My name is Haley Mazgaj and I am conducting a study to understand the reasons behind habitual caffeine consumption in athletes. This survey is for anyone who is a collegiate athlete between the ages 18-24. I would greatly appreciate your insights with the completion of a short online anonymous survey.
With the completion of my research, I hope to understand individual variance in consumption patterns, perceived benefits of using caffeine, and driving factors of caffeine consumption.
The following survey will take approximately 20 minutes which can be accessed from the following link: https://buffalostate.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2ifxDeF45ec4aGy
If you have any questions about the research, please reach out to me at mazgajhl01@buffalostate.edu.
