Objectives:
- Address historical, cultural, and structural factors to raise awareness of racial disparities and experiences of otherness within university environments.
- Foster empathy and inclusivity, ensuring individuals feel seen, heard, and valued while upholding personal accountability in combating biases.
- Provide actionable strategies for creating and maintaining safe spaces within the university.
- Emphasize the importance of self-care and mental health, particularly for those navigating systemic inequities and challenges related to race and identity.
- Encourage collaborative discussions to inspire change within the university community.
Each session includes panel discussions, interactive breakout rooms, and Q&A sessions.
