The Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship Program (USRF) supports full-time students engaged in research, scholarly, or creative activities during the summer under the guidance of a faculty or staff mentor. The USRF program is open to all Buffalo State undergraduates with a graduation date of December 2025 or later. This year, each USRF award will provide a student participant salary of $4,000, a faculty mentor payment of $1,000, and up to $600 for travel, supplies, or equipment to support the project. Students who do not have a local permanent address are also eligible for a summer on-campus housing award to facilitate participation in the program. The student deadline for the online application is Friday, April 4, 2025.  Mentors have until Monday, April 7, to complete and approve the student application.  For more information on applied learning opportunities for students, please visit the Experiential Learning website.
