Foundation Budget Process Update
The Buffalo State College Foundation is implementing an update to the Campus Granted Funds Policy to streamline the annual budgeting process and strengthen oversight across all schools and divisions. As a reminder, Project Directors are requested to affirm the budget for the upcoming fiscal year (FY26/27) for all Foundation departments with accounts with cumulative spendable balances over $25,000. This will be completed using a standardized Statement of Activity provided by Foundation Accounting.
What’s new:
- For funds that support direct salary or salary offset, the Dean or Divisional Vice President will serve as Project Director
- Project Directors will be able to confirm that next year’s budget is materially unchanged or propose updates directly within the Statement of Activity
Statements of Activity will be distributed shortly. If no changes are submitted, the prior year budget will be assumed to continue.
