Volunteer Opportunity with WNY PRISM: August 20, September 10

Please join the Great Lakes Center and WNY PRISM (Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management) at one of our volunteer removal days. If you love recreating in the Buffalo area, help us protect it by attending one of our volunteer days this summer. We will be removing the early detection priority invasive species Japanese stiltgrass from various locations. We will provide snacks, water, and gloves, but feel free to bring your own. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring your own water bottle. This is a great way for students or student organizations to get volunteer hours and help with this community science effort. Please register online and join us on one of the following dates:

Saturday, August 20
9:00 a.m.–noon
West Seneca Soccer Complex, 3747 Seneca Street, West Seneca

Saturday, September 10
9:00 a.m.–noon
Mill Road Park, 739 Mill Road, West Seneca
