Working with the Community in Your Courses: October 27

Please join us for the Teaching and Learning Center session "Working with the Community in Your Courses," facilitated by Alice Villaseñor, associate director of civic and community engagement, on Thursday, October 27, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Butler Library 318.

This session will focus on the ways in which the Civic and Community Engagement Office (CCE) can assist you in developing community-engaged learning connections with community partners in Buffalo. For those who are new to community-engaged learning, the session will serve as a good preparation for the upcoming two-day Faculty Fellows Training, facilitated by Edward Zlotkowski, professor of English at Bentley University and founding director of the Bentley Service-Learning Center, offered to the Buffalo State community January 11 and 12 through the Western New York Service-Learning Coalition. Dr. Zlotkowski’s two-day master class in service learning is appropriate for both long-term practitioners and beginners.

Please register through the Workshop Registration System.
