The Buffalo State College Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, part of the Speech-Language Pathology Department, hosted three specialty clinics this summer. Supervised by domain experts, graduate student clinicians conducted treatment with individuals with deficits in adult language and cognitive-communication skills following stroke, language-literacy and auditory processing problems, and fluency and stuttering issues. Traditional speech-language therapy was also offered to children and adults either individually or in small group settings, with all services providing robust experiences and earned clinical hours for participating students.
